Mugi Meets a Snake by Junko Mizuno
Early in 2020, I gifted myself my first Junko Mizuno original as a "lockdown present"
In 2022, in spired by Mugi's only snake encounter, Junko Mizuno made this special drawing for us, to add to my growing collection of her work
Doktor A x Lowbrowee Toys Mugi Teaworthy
Like with many of the artists here, I have first collaborated with Doktor A making enameled pins for a curated collection (some available still here).
His dog, Thorin, joined their family around when I got Mugi. This new common passion lead us to collaborate on the making of a soft vinyl collectible of Mugi to be shared with collectors and dog lovers.
Mugi Teaworthy is a Doktor A original design, produced by myself (as Lowbrowee Toys), manufactured in Japan, and sold as old school sofubi collectible. We hope you like it!

Illustrator and digital artist Nathan Jurevicius is one of my favorite people in the art scene. A drawing by him was the first original in my collection.
These drawings of Mugi by him are made in his style of portraying rock n' roll stars, different than his more geometric designs like those best-seller as art-pins we made together some years ago.

Sandcastle - digital painting by Jim McKenzie
Back in 2015, Jim McKenzie had a toy released with 3DRetro, base on his own dog, Gordo. Not yet being a dog person myself, I did not fully understand the meaning of it.
In 2024, I was lucky to have Jim agreed to make a digital painting of Mugi, in a surreal setting of a style resembling his "Octopump" series of works from 2012. With very few guidelines, Jim surprised me with the theme and many elements of the artwork, completely knocking it out of the park!
